About Judy Rush

Judy Rush received her bachelor’s degree in 1962 from Purdue University. She became invested in the success of Indiana University and the success of its students when she married IU alumnus, Thomas Rush.

Judy and her husband, Tom, have made transformative gifts to Indiana University with exceptional focus on IU Athletics. Through their gifts they have provided scholarships for deserving student-athletes while also providing valuable resources for coaches and facilities in all 24 varsity sports. Their combined generosity has also impacted the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington and the IU Simon Cancer Center, among many other designations.

For her unwavering generosity to Indiana University’s tradition of academic and athletic excellence, IU Foundation presented Judy with the Presidents Circle Laurel Pin in 2014.
